Chandanasava

Description

Elements: Chendanasava is an Ayurvedic medicine that promotes nightfall, strength, and digestion. Its main ingredient is sandalwood, or handana. This is an Ayurvedic wine preparation. Approximately 5 – 10% of its alcohol is self-produced. The sweetening agent used in Asava and arishta is usually the same. Jaggery and sugar cane are mixed in 2:1 proportions by Chandanasav.

Benefits : Chandna-19 Syrup is traditionally used to treat spermatorrhoea and burning micturition. It is also used to increase strength. This is a natural cardiac tonic. Additionally, it improves digestion. Excess body heat is relieved.

Use : It is usually taken after food or according to Ayurvedic guidelines. If the taste is not tolerated by the patient, it can be mixed with equal amounts of water. It is usually administered for one to two months. You can safely use it for three to four months. Those with diabetes should take precaution since it contains sugar candy and jaggery. The medicine is quite safe when taken at the right dosage.
