Drakshavaleha uses:

  • Treatment of chronic liver diseases- Halimaka
  • Anemia, early stage of liver disorders – Pandu
  • Jaundice, hepatitis – Kamala

Dosage :

  • 5 -10 grams with warm water or honey. The traditional dose is told as the quantity that one can
  • Hold in his / her palm.
  • Dosage for children below 5 years of age -1 -2 grams, once or twice a day, along with a
  • Warm water/milk with a teaspoon of honey.
